Orson Oliver
Interim CEO
Mr. Oliver has been our director since 2005, our Chairman of the Board since 2012 and our interim Chief Executive Officer since 2013. He is currently an independent business consultant with over thirty-five years of experience in banking and financial consulting. Mr. Oliver began his career in 1968 as an attorney with the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. In 1975, he joined the Bank of Louisville as general counsel. In 1985, he became president of the Bank of Louisville. When Branch Banking and Trust Company acquired the Bank of Louisville in 2003, the Bank of Louisville had assets of $1.6 billion and was the largest, locally managed bank in Louisville, Kentucky. From his retirement from banking in 2004 until 2015, Mr. Oliver worked as an independent general business consultant for the Al J. Schneider Company, a corporation with a number of large hotels and real estate holdings in the Louisville, Kentucky area; he became that company's General Counsel in 2015. From May 2004 through December 2011, Mr. Oliver also worked as an independent general business consultant for PNC Bank, which is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Oliver has been a member of the board of directors of the Al J. Schneider Company since February 2004. Beginning in 2013, Mr. Oliver also serves as a director of the Bankers' Bank of Kentucky.

Todd L. Phillips
President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Phillips oversees all aspects of ISA’s investor/lender relations, finance, accounting and human resources.

Mr. Phillips joined ISA from CRS Reprocessing, LLC, a leading provider of fluid reprocessing solutions for industrial applications, where he held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.  CRS has operations in the United States, Europe and Asia and is backed by the private-equity firms, Argosy Capital and Capital Solutions, Inc.  While at CRS, Mr. Phillips led multiple financings during a challenging period in the U.S. and international economies.  He assisted in expanding CRS into new geographic markets, and managed internal functions including corporate finance, international and domestic tax, global treasury, accounting, information technology and human resources.

Prior to CRS, Mr. Phillips was Chief Financial Officer at Genscape, Inc., a global information provider to energy commodity traders.  Genscape was backed by private equity firm Oaktree Capital.  Mr. Phillips was responsible for all global activities associated with accounting, finance, tax, shareholder relations and human resources.  Genscape was honored twice during Mr. Phillips’s tenure as an Inc. 500 company, recognizing Genscape as one of the 500 fastest growing companies in the United States.

Mr. Phillips has seventeen years of finance experience, including four years in public accounting.  Mr. Phillips assisted his previous companies with significant expansion through acquisitions and growth into new markets.  He also established and implemented internal and external financial reporting systems, improving his companies’ internal controls, closing and operational reporting processes.

Mr. Phillips began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP following his graduation from the University of Kentucky.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds degrees in accounting and business administration, with a focus on finance, from the University of Kentucky.

Jason McCorkle
Operations Manager Ferrous and Non-ferrous Grade Lane, Logistics Manager
Mr. McCorkle started in the stainless steel and alloy industry in 2008 with Venture Metals. In 2009, he moved to ISA as part of the acquisition of Venture Metals by ISA. While working in the Alloys business unit, Mr. McCorkle was responsible for both building blends and operations. In December of 2013, Mr. McCorkle took over as the production manager of the Non-Ferrous business unit. In 2015, Mr. McCorkle became the manager for the entire Ferrous business unit and for ISA’s logistics group. Mr. McCorkle has also spent time as manager over commercial sales and scrap procurement.

Tom Ashby
Information Technology, QEHS, Pick Pull Save, and Electronics Scrap Manager
Mr. Ashby has been involved in the technology industry since 1995 and project management since 1998.  He earned an engineering degree from the University Of Louisville Speed Scientific School Of Engineering in 2002 with emphasis in Computer Engineering and Computer Science.  He joined ISA in 2000 as a Software Engineer and utilized this role to develop and implement internal systems and databases to maximize efficiencies throughout the company.  Goal oriented and result driven, he was promoted to Information Technology Manager in 2003 and became responsible for all company-wide IT Operations.  Seeking more responsibility, in 2013, he was appointed as the Manager over all aspects of the newly created Electronic Scrap business unit.  With Mr. Ashby’s guidance and leadership, the E-Scrap division quickly progressed into a major regional player in the industry.  After serving in various positions of increasing responsibility, he was named Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) Manager in 2014 adding QEHS strategic planning, issues management, safe environment awareness training, compliance auditing and emergency response to his list of responsibilities. In 2015 Mr. Ashby also assumed the responsibility of managing our Auto Parts yard ISA Pick Pull Save. Prior to joining ISA, Mr. Ashby worked for an engineering business that designed and implemented sorting systems for many of the major package delivery services throughout the nation.  His responsibilities included, but were not limited to, designing PLC logic to control the various sorting devices, designing an HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) to control these systems and designing a reporting system so users could view various data from the system.

Keith McDonough
Operations Manager Outlying Facilities
Mr. McDonough's career began working primarily with stainless steel and alloys almost a decade ago. He joined ISA’s stainless steel division in 2010 supervising the blending process, outbound shipments and general workflow of the bulk stainless division. In late 2013, Mr. McDonough expanded his experience by getting involved in the ferrous operations primarily responsible for shredder and downstream production, along with torching, baling and shearing operations. Mr. McDonough is currently managing ISA’s three satellite yards in Seymour, IN, New Albany, IN, and their Campground Rd location in Louisville, KY.

Mark Mullen
Marketing Manager Commercial Sales and Scrap Procurement
Mr. Mullen has been involved in metal recycling his entire adult life, entering the industry in his family owned recycling business. In 2011, Mark joined ISA Recycling as a buyer covering multiple territories specializing in both ferrous and non ferrous procurement. In 2014 he became the General manager for the ISA Seymour, Indiana location. His duties now include marketing both the Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals of all ISA locations while continuing to build relations with past and present customers. He believes that great customer service plays a vital role in business today and that all customers must be treated with the utmost respect.
